No one's life is smooth sailing. Everyone's life has good and bad. People's happiness has nothing to do with wealth. Happiness is like drinking water. I believe that many people have been troubled by some things. When we enter a difficult situation in life and depression strikes, some people may be able to break free quickly, but some people will be trapped. The builder of this cage is not others, but ourselves.
It sounds cruel to say this, but if we understand the reasons behind it, we will understand how to solve this deadlock.
Everyone's personality is a multifaceted. We have a kind side, a dark side, a positive side, and a negative side. This means that everyone, like the universe, is neither evil nor good. But from childhood to adulthood, due to social environment, family environment, education factors and other reasons, we have learned and know how to behave in order to gain a foothold in this society and this environment. Let others accept ourselves, so that we can get more attention from others, get love and satisfaction. So what exactly are we restricted by and become depressed? Limitations come from two aspects, one is the external environment, and the other is the internal environment.
The external environment is the standard, the standard of human society, such as the standard for roles. If I were a boy, I would be taught since childhood that I cannot cry easily. I need to show a strong and masculine side in front of outsiders, because boys mean that when they grow up, they will be the backbone of a family. How can you not be strong? And what about girls? You should be well-behaved and sensible, because you will be a good wife in the future. Another example is emotional control. In modern society, the sign of a person's maturity is whether you can control your emotions. We can't be like children, crying loudly when unhappy and cursing loudly when dissatisfied. So we live with masks every day. We know it's tiring, but we can't put down this mask because we have to continue to survive! In addition, there are more standards, such as the standard of being a qualified mother, the standard of being a qualified husband, the standard of being a successful person, etc. The higher the social status, the more standards you will be subject to, and the more difficult it is to be yourself.
There is also an external manifestation of karma, such as not getting what you want, or worse, the death of a loved one. The most difficult thing to bear is the death of children, which may be the most difficult thing to accept in the world. In addition, there are family karma reasons. Many elders have depression, and the whole family is difficult to escape from the constraints of this karma. And so on, these are all external limitations.
What are the limitations of the internal environment? It is because of fear. This fear is often caused by the hurt we have suffered in the reincarnation of past lives, which forces us to hide our true emotions and true personality. In addition, every soul comes from one, and each of us is self-sufficient, but in this space, because of the difference in mind, each of us will face different situations and show different personalities due to different causes and conditions. Everyone hopes to be the most unique soul, but at the same time we are afraid that we are too different and become an alternative and become a minority that is attacked. This sense of isolation will make us feel afraid, so we will live and show ourselves according to the standards of the majority. We will keep pulling back and forth between one and the individual, trying to find a balance in this contradiction.
It is because of these limitations of the inner and outer environment that we cannot live according to our original wishes. If it is the situation of karma, we can only feel this powerlessness deeply, and it seems that there is no way. What about other people with depression? In order to adapt to the environment, we have to make concessions according to the principle of survival of the fittest, suppress our true personality, wrong ourselves, and then show the good side of our personality. This leads to the personality we show being inconsistent with our actual personality. If we do not have the wisdom to digest this long-term repression, it will become a time bomb over time. It will explode at a certain moment, and we will become depressed. In more serious cases, we will develop a world-weary mentality.
So how should we save ourselves in the face of depression? How can we really get rid of its control?
It is to improve your awareness, find yourself first, and then be yourself again, be the most authentic self. This does not mean that you can lose your temper whenever you want, but to know yourself first with more wisdom, accept yourself in different aspects, face your good and evil, good and bad, and finally learn to get along with yourself and restore yourself, because everyone is actually the same. After wearing a mask for a long time, we forget our original appearance. It's like, we like to use beauty filters when taking selfies, which makes us afraid to look in the mirror at night for fear of scaring ourselves. This sounds like a joke, but the real situation of many souls is really like this. For someone who wants to take the path of spiritual practice, this is a compulsory course before our practice. You must restore yourself first. Just start with the body. The body, mind and spirit are one. The body is not what we think it is, a carrier, like a piece of computer hardware. No, it is inseparable from the mind. The body and mind have been one-to-one corresponding for a long period of practice. As a person who has fallen into depression, the great principles of life may have been heard by people who are tired of hearing them, because people with depression often understand the great principles of life better than anyone else, but they are very sensitive, that is, their bodies are very sensitive, and their minds are also very sensitive. Since the principles can no longer be heard, then we start with the body, because these depressed emotions will lead to insufficient energy and excessive yin energy, and the body will be The meridians are also blocked, so our first step is very simple. First, get more sun, sunbathe your back, and let the body's positive energy rise first, because the sun is the oldest source of energy. If your third eye is more active, you can see that there are a lot of energy particles under the sun. They can help us replenish the spiritual energy of heaven and earth first, because our body and self-sacrifice are an illusion. It is connected to the outside world, and these spiritual energies of heaven and earth are much smarter than our ego. They can find the entrance and know how to save you. If you are afraid of getting tanned, just wear a hat. Of course, compared with depression, tanning does not seem to be a problem. In this process, you just need to completely believe in these spiritual energies.When the positive energy in your body rises, you will feel that your body is gradually becoming comfortable and you always want to bask in the sun. Although you may still not be interested in anything, it doesn’t matter. During this period, you don’t have to worry about your heart. If you want to cry, just cry. Find some good ways to vent and vent. Because you don’t pay attention to it, your heart will quietly recover with the body. As long as the positive energy comes together, it will be easy, because you are now starting to turn, your body and mind are starting to turn. Then start learning to meditate, learn to clean up the chakras, clean up the body’s qi channels, clean up your fears from many lifetimes, regain high-quality sleep, and then further balance the yin and yang energy in your body, replenish energy, let the spiritual energy reconcile with the karma, and finally let your fearlessness rise.
Of course, in this process, the emphasis needs to vary from person to person, and it also requires multi-faceted cooperation, including improving one's own wisdom, and at the same time, it is necessary to make corrections according to one's own situation. It needs to be combined with the first point mentioned above. You need to have enough understanding of yourself and enough willingness to accept yourself. At the same time, if possible, it is best to find a teacher with positive energy to help you make corrections. This will be much faster and avoid detours.
So what should we do with this kind of depression in front of karma? Like the death of a loved one mentioned above, the influence of family karma, the only way to jump out of this predicament is through practice, otherwise you may enter a cycle, but no matter how many times you cycle, you still have to turn back and face yourself in the end. This is difficult, I know, but for this kind of people, it is an opportunity, an opportunity to get rid of it completely, because there is nothing worse than this.
In addition, people with depression all have a feeling of world-weariness, and the other side of world-weariness is actually renunciation. Many practitioners have experienced world-weariness in the early stages of their practice. I remember when I was depressed, I couldn't sleep at night, and I didn't want to wake up during the day. I felt like a dead soul who died unjustly. There was nothing in my mind, only a few painful pictures, and they were replayed every day, repeating non-stop. It was really too dark, and there was no hope at all. But when our wisdom gradually rises, this emotion will evolve into renunciation, that is, it will change from a passive to a positive emotion, which is the driving force of our practice. So many times it is really a blessing in disguise.
For the first two, we all start from this self, and the other one starts from the external environment. Our depressed emotions come from many aspects, which may come from collective consciousness, or from the information of connection from our past or future, or it may be caused by the karma entanglement with others. During this period, our mind is powerless because of our own insufficient energy, so we stay away as much as possible, and use distance to buy time for ourselves. What time? The time to gain wisdom and strength, when our body's yin and yang are balanced, the energy will be replenished, and you will naturally know how to deal with it. What if you can't leave it? Then you can only turn a blind eye. Pull all your attention back to yourself, and treat the rest as fake.Finally, each of us has our own higher self and guiding spirit. Of course, you may also have your own religious beliefs and gods. When we are at the bottom of our lives, we can pray for their help and ask them to guide us out of the predicament, but this prayer, you need to change the method, not to ask for a solution, but to ask for wisdom. You can say to your higher self, guiding spirit or the god you believe in: "My guiding spirit, I am in a dilemma in my life now, I don't have the wisdom to face it, please help me get higher cosmic wisdom, help me get out of this dilemma as quickly as possible, thank you!"This method is very effective, you can try it, why don't we ask for a solution? Instead, ask for wisdom? It's very simple, it's better to teach someone how to fish than to give him fish. Even a little human knows something, can the high-dimensional wisdom be confused about this point?
In summary, depression may be a stuck point in life, but it may also be a turning point for us to improve our life level. It’s up to you to choose which way to go! The choice is yours. If you don’t want to be trapped, do the opposite. If you want to be trapped in it and move yourself, that’s also your choice.
